I have a wide range of nursing and community health experience, including working with pregnant women, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a social service capacity for several years before the birth of my son in 2007 - I now stay home full time with my two little ones. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Joseph's College, New York. Though I do have professional experience in the field, the most important factor in being an effective educator is that I myself have experienced the beauty of a natural, unmedicated labor and delivery. Childbirth Educators and Doulas do not practice medicine or offer medical advice. We are women that desire to support and empower other women to have the safest, most satisfying birth experience possible.
I am grateful for the constant, loving encouragement of my husband, Brian. I am excited to learn and grow everyday as I journey towards health, holistic parenting and natural family living. I enjoy reading, running, vegetarianism, going on dates with my hubby and (most of all!) seeking out adventures with my 2 amazing homeschooled children, John and Mya. I am a blessed woman!
It is truly my privilege and joy to be able to support women as a Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, Birth & Postpartum Doula, Certified Infant Massage Educator, Holistic Parenting Consultant, and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime, I am here for you!
